About Us

About Us

Gagasan Rhema Engineering Sdn Bhd was formed in the year 2010 by a team of experienced professionals consisting of managing director, project managers, site manager, geologists, boring and soil testing experts.

Associated with Gagasan Teguh Sdn Bhd, a soil investigation company established since 1991, Gagasan Rhema Engineering offers a wider range of related but specialized scope of services such as Soil Nailing, Guniting, Micropilling, Tube Well Installation and other Geotechnical related works.

Through our expertise, innovation and the latest engineering tools, we aim to deliver the highest standard possible in this industry. All our staffs are professionally trained and qualified in their various positions and well equipped to tackle any project nationwide with our established network of associates.

Soil Nailing

The basic concept of soil nailing, also known as ground anchoring, is to reinforced and strengthen the existing ground by installing closely-spaced steel bars called ‘nails’ into a slope as construction proceeds from “top-down”. These soil nails or anchors can be temporary or permanent structural elements designed to withstand lateral forces or ground deformations during construction.

Soil nailing is increasingly being used in Malaysia, for distressed and very steep cut slopes, even up to 25 metres high. This method has a distinct advantage of strengthening the slope without excessive earthworks associated with reinforced concrete wall and reinforced soil wall.

Guniting

Gunite or Shotcrete is a method of applying concrete to irregular, vertical and overhead surfaces by spraying a mixture of cement and wet sand via a feeding pressure vessel or gun.

Guniting is used commonly to protect slopes from erosion, as well as structures of large areas or uneven surfaces. It is the most effective way to eliminate soil erosion in areas where plants are ineffective because slopes are steep and soil erosion rapid.

Micro Pilling

Micro Piles are generally used in conditions where limited space or height exists but a high load capacity is required. The equipment used for the installation of Micro Piles is much smaller than conventional piling equipment.

The structural principle of Micro Piles differs from the normal reinforced concrete piles in that the load is carried wholly by the steel component of the Micro Pile. The diameter of the steel component ranges from 100mm to 200mm and load capacity can be provided up to 100 tonnes.

Micro Pile Applications

·        Supporting new loads in congested areas

·        Seismic retrofit

·        Arresting structural settlement

·        Resisting Uplift/Dynamic Loads

·        Underpinning

·        Excavation support in confined areas

Tube Well Installation

A tube well is a type of water well bored into the ground to draw water out. It is generally used for irrigation and construction purposes or simply as a source of water for living in rural areas. A typical tube well installation consists of a long 100-200mm wide stainless steel tube or pipe bored into an underground aquifer. The lower end is fitted with a strainer, and an electric pump at the top lifts water up.
